Creating a Local Brand




When thinking of LEDs, Tokushima prefecture is aiming for people to think of Tokushima. One of the prefectures central aims is to establish a regional brand of LEDs. The prefecture is doing this by designating locations and monuments that use LEDs as sightseeing spots and certifying them as part of the 88 Places Tour of Light. The low power consumption of the LED, as well as its long life property, small size, and light weight are being used effectively in actual facilities and the townscape (urban development) for all to experience. There are now 54 certified locations on the tour. Please visit these sites and enjoy the beautiful LED illuminations.
